The target audience for the wii is totally different than that for xbox 360 or the ps3. Many wii owners are nongamers or casuals, and as such, will always buy less games than hardcore gamers on an individual bases. This is why even with a 4 million US install base, the wii software sales are still not on par with those of MS (also not to mention that xbox 360 has a US install base of 6.3 million, so it's normal for MS to have higher software sales anyway). Actually, the xbox 360 still has a bigger install base than the wii in the US (6.3 million vs 4.0 million). Also, you forgot to mention that Bioshock had about a week more to sell than MP3. If you look at the their average sales per day, you would find that MP3 has sold quicker than Bioshock.
The wii stayed the same because nintendo still can't meet up with demand. If there were more stocks, that number would definitely increase.
The entire video is comparing each platform's games library first and foremost, so why are they calling it the best hardware. That's kind of misleading (and no, the first statement of the video doesn't cut it). And I, personally, beleive that with all the 360 defects, it shouldn't even be called the best hardware.
is anyone besides me thinking of where the heck is an AC character for brawl. there's already a stage designed for it, as well as assist tropies, but where is an actual playable character. i find it odd that nintendo will leave out such a crucial character from the lineup.
